Smith-Trahern Mansion project
The Smith-Trahern Mansion is a beautiful and historic site overlooking the Cumberland River in downtown Clarksville. Used for weddings, meetings and guided tours, it features period appropriate garden beds.
Since the 1990's, when a Master Gardener saw the need for gardens at the mansion, which the city didn’t provide, the Montgomery County Master Gardener's Association took on the project. Our goal is to keep a neat and orderly garden entrance to the mansion, while enjoying the site with other fellow Master Gardeners.
