1. Barbara Wilbur Garden
230 Cherokee Trail, Clarksville, TN. This is not a traditional organized flower garden, but you will appreciate a happy and serene outdoor green space. As you walk up the driveway, even before you reach the backyard, you will observe nature and natural, the primary goals of this garden. A flowering almond shrub, small bloom spirea, autumn clematis, and few antique roses greet you. Here and there you may find a miniature orange, lemon, or gardenia plant. |
2. Jubilee Garden
150 Richview Rd, Clarksville, TN. Jubilee Garden is one of the few Clarksville community gardens specifically grown to provide seasonal vegetables, fruits, and flowers to the neighbors in the community. With over 20 raised beds, fresh tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, asparagus, cilantro, okra, beans, watermelons, squash, cucumbers, herbs and many other seasonal vegetables grown. This community garden ptovies a place to meet and build relationships while growing and gathering food. |
3. Joan and Dr. Ernie DeWald
847 River Run, Clarksville, TN. This landscaping features spectacular, extensive and detailed multi-level stone terracing overlooking the River Club Golf Course and steep riverbanks. A diverse array of beautiful flowers, shrubs, and trees, that includes Red Buckeye, Chinese Fringe, Patio Peach. Magnolias, Dogwoods and Paw Paws cover the area. The grounds include a historic Buffalo path, a gazebo and tennis courts. |
4. Vicki and Mark Krueger Garden
821 River Run, Clarksville, TN. This garden features an inviting walk down the intricate brick pathways bordered by rocks, intriguing structure, and spectacular classic statues. You will see and eclectic mixture of lush plants along the way, incorporating Hydrangeas, Roses, Viburnum, Sunflowers, Rudbeckia, Coreopsis, and Lantana. Mark will be selling his homemade Wisconsin Maple Syrup, cream and sugar. |
5. David and Angie Tonner
1490 Willow Bend Court, , Clarksville, TN. Welcome to a magical, fabulously well-designed garden not far from the Red River. Upon arrival, you have entered a dream garden. Eyes might first be drawn to the amazing topiaries, but looking around and following the meandering stone foot paths thought vast plantings, novel discoveries are found in every direction. This is a formal garden, so well designed, there is something of interest every single day of the year. |
6. Durell Jr and Marsha Smith
424 West Park St. , Guthrie, KY. This impressive semi-formal garden incorporates several garden rooms and features an elaborately designed 30' x 30' formal Old English Garden complete with evergreen corners, highlighting a unique know garden. A simply beautiful array of colors is displayed with striking beds of diverse varieties of day lilies, vast plantings of spectacular caladiums dazzle the eye. Gorgeous Hydrangeas, Hostas, Japanese maples, ferns, delightful statues, fountains, urns and a lovely water garden showcase the exquisite backyard shade garden. |
